UOWx Interactive Seminar: Uni 2.0 - The Future of Education

Holographic lecturers? Hoverboards between classes? What do you think of when you imagine a university campus in 2050?

Take the future into your own hands as we explore how education has traditionally been 'done' and build a plan for the future. We'll learn about adaptability, creativity and resilience - key skills for success for students and universities alike.

This week our facilitator is the wonderful Professor James Arvanitakis - award-winning educator, academic activist and king of the selfie!

Professor Arvanitakis is the Dean of the Graduate Research School at Western Sydney University. James has worked as an economist, human rights activist, academic and social commentator. He is a regular speaker at national and international conferences and was awarded the Prime Minister’s University Teacher of the Year Award in 2012 for his innovative teaching style.

Light refreshments will be provided at this SSAF supported event. This event is free for all current UOW students.
